With another elementary school conversion in the works, Advantes is going from the three Rs to a fourth: Residential.
With a successful redevelopment of the former Hope Lutheran School in the Southampton area complete, Advantes Development is turning its attention to the former Lafayette School in the heart of Soulard. This upcoming Advantes project will convert classrooms into 36 luxury apartments featuring modern amenities and finishes.
At press date, two dozen former school locations remain on the city’s surplus properties website. However, residential conversions of similar properties have been especially noteworthy, as they bring fresh aesthetics and interest to vacant spaces.
